Printed Safety Grip™ used for Baku 2015

We were approached with a unique request – to produce a printed Safety Grip™ that would play a crucial role on the start ramp and podium for the BMX races at the Baku 2015 European Games. The Baku 1st European Games, scheduled to be held in Baku, Azerbaijan, from the 12th until the 28th of June, marked a significant milestone as an inaugural multi-sport event for athletes representing the National Olympic Committees of Europe.

The BMX events, in particular, promised high-octane action, with the Men’s competition spanning four rounds and the Women’s competition featuring three intense rounds leading up to the finals. The start ramp and podium are critical areas where grip and traction are paramount for the athletes. It’s here that our expertise in safety and anti-slip solutions came into play.

To meet the specific requirements of this event, we utilised our standard white anti-slip tape as the base material. Printing full colour onto this tape allowed us to achieve the exact colour specifications provided by the event organisers. This meticulous printing process not only ensured that the colours matched their specifications but also reduced the risk of any delays in the production process.
